Greetings!!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Barry, I live by the coast in a small town called Cleveleys near Blackpool in the UK. It's a great place to be although typically i find it too cold in winter.

I was brought up in Fleetwood and was 'educated' at the then 'Larkholme High School' which has long since been demolished.

Ever since a small child i was fascinated that a friend of mine's dad owned an electronic organ. To todays standard it was rubbish, however at the time it was my calling in life and after pestering my parents for a year i began to learn how to play.... and i did. 

These days i now work as a Manager in a music retail store in Blackpool. I meet all kinds of people and throughout the course of a year i can honestly say that i encounter both extremes of humanity, from those who shock and surprise me with either stories of courage, bravery or are simply very nice - to people who really didn't deserve to have won the race to the egg in the first place.

So why this blog? Well it's all new to me. And even more of a surprise may be that i'm a serious tech head who can also cook. Hmm I think in life that i need somewhere to place my thoughts - some days life won't offer anything worth boring people (even myself) about so i won't post. Other days i'll simply forget (I'm on Blood Pressure tablets and even forget to take those).

We'll see how it goes.
